Build Description
Read on the build’s page and written into its in-game Build Planner file.
Select some text and press a style to wrap it in the game’s markup, or
type the tags yourself: <red>{ text },
nesting like <b>{<red>{ text }}.
Roughly how the game draws it: the colours are close rather than exact, and the game uses its own font.
Use In-game
Builds can be displayed in-game via either of the following methods:
Option 1: Save to your game folder
Not available for Console
Save the file into
Documents\
That is the My Games folder under your Documents, not the folder the game is installed in. The game watches that folder and picks the build up straight away, even while it is running.
Choosing the folder from here needs Chrome or Edge. In this browser, download the file and move it there.
Option 2: Upload to your account
Download the file, then upload it to your Path of Exile 2 account. The game loads the builds on your account wherever you log in.
In the game
- Skill Gem and Spirit Gem recommendations appear in the upper-left of the Gemcutting menu.
- Support Gem recommendations appear to the right of the “All Valid” gems list, but only for Skill Gems or Spirit Gems covered by the build.
- The Passive Tree shows a blue outline around recommended passives.
- An icon appears over each Inventory equipment slot the build has recommendations for.
- All of the above can be segmented by character level, so the details may change as you level.
Known bugs waiting on GGG:
- Support Gem level ranges don't apply.
- The same Support Gem can be used for multiple skills, but their notes are incorrectly shared.

Purpose
“Campaign” displays level milestones for granular progression.
“Endgame” is the finished loadout alone.
Switching the purpose starts the plan over: everything in Equipment & Skills will be cleared. The passive tree stays.
